431 (AD) Squadron Snowbirds	CF-18 Hornet Demo

 

As part of the Centennial of Flight Celebration, 14 Wing Greenwood is pleased to announce that a family day will take place on Wednesday, 20th May 2009 rain or shine from 1500hrs-2000hrs.

The event will be centered around the parade square and in the case of wet weather, it will be in the arena. All are welcome and there is no cost to attend.

This celebration of aviation will include fun for the whole family with various kids' activities such as:

• aviation arts and crafts
• CF-18 Cockpit simulator
• Fire Department displays
• Air Cadet displays
• Search and Rescue Display

There will be various aircraft on display including:

• CH-149 Cormorant
• CP-140 Aurora
• CC-130 Hercules
• Silver Dart replica
• Zenair aircraft

The official unveiling of the restored Anson will take place.

Look to the skies at 1830hrs for a spectacular aerial display from the Snowbirds and CF-18 Demo aircraft. This exciting event is one that you will not want to miss!

Attendance is free of charge.
